Frequently Asked Questions

Can I enroll my child in the program if they do not meet the required age?

A child must meet the minimum age requirement for the course on the first day of attendance and must not exceed the maximum allowed age. If the child reaches the required minimum age within 15 days after the first lesson, they may still join the course. Enrollment is possible throughout the year if there is available capacity, meaning as soon as the child reaches the required age. If this condition is not met and incorrect registration details are provided, we reserve the right to cancel the child's participation in the course. This condition is based on our experience and aims to ensure the best possible training benefits for all participating children. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to it.

Can I reserve a spot in the program before the official registration opens?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a spot in advance; registration is only available after the official opening.

Can I attend a trial session with my child and then possibly register afterward?

Due to the limited capacity of the program, participation in the program is only possible after prior registration (via the registration form on our website), which also includes payment. However, we guarantee a refund if you decide not to continue after the first session for any reason. This initial lesson serves as a trial and parents are allowed to be present at the first session.

What is the price of the course?

The price varies depending on the program and the time of enrollment. If you register after the course has started, the price will be proportionally reduced based on the number of remaining lessons. You can join the program at any time during the year. The listed prices are for a semester (14 sessions).

  • Baby (2,5-4 years) - €165
  • Junior (4-6 years) - €159
  • Sportmix (6-9 years) - €159
  • Active (8-11 years) - €159

Do you provide Tax Rebate?

We are a Non-Formal Education Provider, and parents can claim a tax rebate of up to EUR 300 per child each year for activities. We handle everything for you—no forms needed. Every spring, we submit payment details for the previous year to SportMalta for verification and forwarding to the Tax Department. The rebate is always processed by September. Please ensure your registration details are correct to avoid any delays or issues.

I am having trouble paying through the payment gateway. Can I send the money directly to your bank account?

For proper accounting records, the payment must be made through the payment gateway, and it is not possible to send the payment via bank transfer to our account. If you are having trouble making the payment through the payment gateway, try using a different web browser, computer, or mobile phone. Alternatively, you can try using a different payment card.

I paid the course fee, but I haven't received the registration and payment confirmation. What should I do?

Please check your email inbox, including the folders for bulk mail or spam, as our emails sometimes end up there by mistake. If you still can't find the confirmation, please write to us at support@gymnathlon.com.mt, and we will send you a new one.

How does the money-back guarantee work if I decide to cancel my participation in the course?

The condition for a 100% refund of the course fee is submitting a request within three days (72 hours) after the first session following your enrollment in the program. In other cases (if the request is submitted later), the cancellation will be processed according to the applicable cancellation policy.

I would like to cancel my child's participation in the course. How should I proceed?

Please fill out the form at https://gymnathlon.com.mt/form. If you meet the conditions for a refund, the amount will be transferred back to the account from which the fee was paid. The refund amount depends on the number of lessons that have taken place since the child's enrollment in the program, regardless of whether they attended those sessions or not.

Do you provide financial compensation if a child is sick and cannot attend the session?

If the child is absent due to a common seasonal illness, such as viruses, sore throat, etc., we do not provide financial compensation. For longer-term absences due to more serious illness, injury, surgery, etc., we evaluate each case individually based on a request sent to support@gymnathlon.com.mt, and in such cases, compensation may be possible.

Is it possible to make up sessions that the child missed?

Unfortunately, we do not offer make-up sessions for missed classes due to organizational reasons.

Is it possible to change to a different program after payment or during the season (e.g., due to a change in location or time preference)?

Yes, it is possible if there is available capacity in your preferred program. If you wish to make a change, please contact our customer care on support@gymnathlon.com.mt.

How many sessions does the program have, when does it start, and how long does it last?

All courses have 28 sessions and are divided into the first and second semesters, each with 14 sessions. The duration of the program depends on public holidays, vacations, and any other days off announced by the school—sessions do not take place on these days, and the program duration is extended accordingly to maintain the total of 28 sessions. All programs begin in October and, considering the above, end in May or June.

How long does the first semester last, and when does the second semester begin?

Both semesters consist of 14 lessons and follow one another without a break. The start of the second semester is determined by the end of the first semester, which length depends on the number of days when sessions do not take place (see the previous question).

What does the child need to bring to the session?

No special clothing or equipment is required for the session. Comfortable sportswear, sturdy sports shoes suitable for the gym, and a water bottle are all that is needed.

Can I be present at the training?

In the interest of maximizing the children's concentration during sessions, we do not allow parents to be present (except for the Baby program, where parental presence is required). Parents are only permitted for the first session of the program, which serves as a trial session, and in special cases, by prior arrangement with the head coach. If you are joining the program during its duration or in the second semester, the possibility of attending your introductory session depends on the rules and policies of the specific school/sports facility, so please confirm this with your head coach in advance if you're interested.

Can my child be picked up from after-school care for the session?

Yes, if your child attends the school where the program is held. In that case, the head coch will pick up the child from after-school care before the session and either return them to after-school care afterward or hand them directly to the parents. It all depends on the arrangement with the specific school, and in any case you must confirm this arrangement with the head coach in advance.

I would like to excuse my child from a lesson or ask about specific matters regarding the training. Who should I contact?

For organizational matters related to the training, please contact your head coach directly or send an email to support@gymnathlon.com.mt.

If I register my child for Gymnathlon Baby, can I bring a younger sibling with me?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to participate in the course with another child. This sports program captures joint exercises between parents and children, where the parent's attention is an important part throughout the lesson. Any other child would distract you and disrupt the flow of the course.
